One of the wonderful and challenging aspects of marketing is how dynamic the field is. Marketers have to keep their eyes open for trends and constant changes in their ecosystem, both online and offline. In order to garner more useful insights and stay alert for new trends, I use Twitter. However, as i’m sure you know Twitter has some useful insights and a bunch of self-promoting garbage. This is why I have made a list of 9 of my favorite marketers on Twitter. Jess is an entrepreneur, blogger, author, marketer and speaker who works with personal brands and business to optimize their online personal and company brands with emerging technologies, content, social media technologies and digital marketing. Larry is the Founder of WordStream, Inc and is a Top columnist at Inc. Magazine, Search Engine Land, Social Media Examiner, etc. His Key Interests include: AdWords/PPC/SEM, Social Media Ads (Facebook/Twitter), Entrepreneurship and Start-ups. Amy is a social media strategist and co-author of Facebook Marketing All-In-One for Dummies. She helps entrepreneurs across industries establish strategies to maximize the power of social media and increase the success of their online marketing efforts. Mari is one of the world’s leading social media thought leaders with deep expertise in Facebook marketing. She is often referred to as “the Queen of Facebook,” Mari Smith is one of the world’s foremost experts on Facebook marketing and social media marketing. She is a Forbes’ Top Social Media Power Influencer (currently #4 of 100), and the author of The New Relationship Marketing and coauthor of Facebook Marketing: An Hour A Day. Rand is the co-founder of one of the marketing world’s fastest growing software companies, Moz. Moz’s focus is on serving professional marketers with analytics and recommendations to improve their web traffic and customer acquisition through inbound channels such as SEO, social media, content marketing, and more. Lee is the CEO of TopRank Marketing – Digital Marketing Strategist, Author, & Speaker. He is an Internationally experienced public speaker at over 100 public and private digital marketing and PR events in 13 different countries. Has provided strategic consulting to numerous Fortune 500 companies on integrated content, social media and search and influencer marketing strategy. Christopher is a public speaker in digital marketing. He is also the Vice President of Marketing Technology at SHIFT Communications, a data-driven PR and marketing agency, a co-founder of PodCamp with Chris Brogan, a co-host of the Marketing Over Coffee marketing podcast with John Wall, a professor of Internet Marketing and lead subject matter expert, curriculum designer, and professor of Advanced Social Media at the University of San Francisco online. Has started two SaaS companies, Crazy Egg and KISSmetrics. He also has a weekly newsletter called SaaS weekly in which he shares relevant and curated links for those interested in the SaaS business. This is my top 9 for now, although everyday I’m looking to add more to my list.
